Compilation of Financial Statements

Companies Commission of Malaysia (“SSM”) has decided to exempt certain categories of private companies (“Small Company”) from audit from Year 2018 onwards.

However, the “small company” would still required to submit and lodge the unaudited financial statements to SSM. These financial statements must comply with applicable approved accounting standards pursuant to subsection 244(1) of the Companies Act 2016.
